Pauly D considers his Jersey Shore castmates to be "family."

MTV announced that it will be ending the hit reality show following the upcoming sixth season's broadcast.

Pauly is a DJ and he now has a number of musical opportunities to look forward to in his career.

Still, Pauly will miss the shenanigans that he, Snooki, JWoww, Deena Cortese, Vinny Guadagnino, The Situation and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro got into on set.

"You know, it's bittersweet. We've been through so much together," Pauly told MTV News on the red carpet of Thursday night's MTV Video Music Awards.

"They are actually my family now. They're not going anywhere. We're not going anywhere."

Ronnie is equally sad to say goodbye to his good friends.

"I'm going to miss you guys," Ronnie said.

Snooki, who just recently welcomed her and fianc Jionni LaValle's baby boy Lorenzo, couldn't be with the crew at the VMAs. She sent in a video to share her love with the Jersey Shore house.

"Hey, what's up, b***hes? Me, Jionni and Lorenzo wish we could be there with you guys at the VMAs, but Lorenzo's too small to fist-pump, and I'm working on my guidette status as a MILF," she said on tape.

"I hope you guys are missing me on the red carpet, but next year, I will be there in my leopard-print dress, and Lorenzo is going to win a VMA for the Best New Artist. Love you guys. Bye."
