8th December 2010

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Johnny Depp says he has accepted his children will never think he is cool.

The star is admired by men and women across the world for his handsome good looks and acting talent. Even though Johnny is one of the most famous faces in Hollywood and has legions of fans, he insists his two children - 11-year-old Lily Rose and Jack, eight are rarely impressed by their father.

Johnnys latest big screen outing is in The Tourist, which also stars Angelina Jolie. During the filming of the movie Johnny developed a friendship with Angelina and her partner Brad Pitt who raise six children together - and the two men discussed the impact fatherhood has on your status.

Brad and I have come to the conclusion that really no dad can be cool, Johnny explained in an interview with British television show Daybreak. Neither one of us can be cool, because to your kids you are dad, and dad tells stupid jokes or does dumb things to make the kids laugh. So we have come to peace with the fact that neither one of us can be cool in our kids eyes.

Johnny loves being a father and spends all his spare time with his kids and his partner Vanessa Paradis. He has revealed he would like to expand his family one day and often feels sentimental when he sees newborn babies.

Occasionally when you see a new little baby, you feel a little broody a little clucky. But I think we will hold off for a bit, for the third, he laughed.

The 47-year-old hunk is happier than ever with Vanessa and says it was love at first sight for him. Johnny went on to recall he knew he was in big trouble when he first laid eyes on the French singer-and-actress, revealing he was blown away by beauty.

I can remember about 13 years ago being in a hotel in Paris and from very far across the room I could see this back that was attached to this neck and the neck and back turned and looked at me and I saw the face and it was Vanessa, he explained. And then she walked over to me and said hello and that was it that was the moment when I knew I was done and in big trouble. (C) Cover Media
