Johnny Depp has officially announced that he has split from long-term love Vanessa Paradis.
There had been speculation over recent months that the couple was having trouble in their 14-year relationship.
But in a statement from the Hollywood star's publicist, the Pirates of the Caribbean actor confirmed the news.
"Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis have amicably separated," Entertainment Tonight revealed.
"Please respect their privacy and, more importantly, the privacy of their children."
Johnny, 49, and the French actress have two kids together; Lily-Rose, 12, and son Jack, 10.
Vanessa recently told Stylist magazine that she has a "problem with the term soulmates."
"It's such a strong statement - it's like a marriage contract. I believe in love, and I want to believe that it lasts forever," she stated.
"Love hurts and burns. This is why it's so powerful - it's such a universal feeling. Everyone knows it."
