Junior NTR's 'Shakthi' recently completed its schedule in Karnataka, in which the important portions involving NTR Jr. and Ileana was shot. The next schedule will commence shortly across the outskirts of Hyderabad, where more sequences will be filmed. The film has Ileana D' Cruz starring opposite him in female lead character.

The film is directed by Tollywood's most famous filmmaker Meher Ramesh, whose remake of 'Billa' with Prabhas was a blockbuster. Director Ramesh assures that the film's screenplay will be engrossing for the fans of Jr. NTR. Bollywood's prominent actors Jackie Shroff and Pooja Bedi will perform important roles in this film. Sameer Reddy is handling cinematography and Manisharma is scoring music.
