Justin Bieber denies baby allegations

2nd November 2011

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Justin Bieber's representative has denied he has fathered a baby.

The 17-year-old Baby singer has been accused of having a three-month-old boy with a woman in California.

Mariah Yeater, 20, is demanding that the pop star take a DNA test "to scientifically confirm" that he is the father of her child, according to court papers obtained by Star magazine.

However, the star's spokesperson has slammed the allegation.

"While we haven't yet seen THE LAWSUIT, it's sad that someone would fabricate malicious, defamatory AND demonstrably false claims," the representative said in a statement to ET. "We WILL VIGOROUSLY PURSUE all available legal remedies to DEFEND AND protect Justin against THESE ALLEGATIONS (sic)."

The legal filing was submitted in late October with Mariah requesting Justin provide "adequate support" for her baby.

The affidavit was signed under penalty of perjury and Mariah claims that she was 19-years-old when she had sex with Justin backstage at one of his concerts in Los Angeles last year when he would have been only 16.

A date for a court hearing has been set for later this year.

The performer is said to already be worth over $100 million from his album sales, tour dates and merchandise.

He is currently dating singer Selena Gomez and the pair have been in a serious relationship for around 12 months. They recently adopted a puppy together.

Justin revealed earlier this year that he wanted to start a family at a young age.

"Well by 25 or 26, I want to see myself married or start looking for a family," he said.

"I want to be a young dad. I want to be able to have done what I wanted to do to be successful, to do a movie or whatever. But if the time is right, I definitely want to be married by 25." (C) Cover Media
