The teen singing sensation turned 17 last week, and is maturing day by day. The heartthrobs latest step towards manhood is coming in the form of some new facial hair, which he is particularly excited about.

"Im not shaving for a month so you all can see my moustache (sic)," he wrote on his Twitter page.

"Im pumped."

There is no word on what Justins singer-and-actress girlfriend Selena Gomez, 18, thinks of his moustache plans. Justin is currently touring Europe, and exchanged heartfelt tweets with the pretty star yesterday.

"@selenagomez I miss you (sic)," he wrote, to which Selena replied; "@justinbieber I miss all of y'all (sic)".

Justin is used to hitting the headlines in hair-related stories. Last week a lock of his tresses was sold at an auction for a staggering $40,668. The singer had donated the strands to Ellen DeGeneres during an appearance on her talk show last month, telling her she should sell it and donate the funds to a charity of her choice. Ellen decided to use the lock of sought-after hair to raise money for an animal rescue centre called The Gentle Barn in California. (C) Cover Media
