The new year had the saddest of news for the film fraternity with the sudden demise of legendary actor, screenwriter and dialogue writer Kader Khan. It was the first day of the year when Khan slipped in comma and the news of him passing away got us dipped in sorrow.

At the age of 81, Khan passed away in Canada where he was undergoing his treatment. Now the Coolie No. 1 actor's last rites will take place in Canada itself, confirms his son. At the moment, the actor's mortal remains are kept in a masjid. After the holy Namaz the body will be buried at a graveyard in Canada. Prior to his death he was supported with a ventilator. 

The veteran actor was diagnosed with supranuclear palsy, a condition after which he broke into the coma and died. Everyone from the film fraternity shared their deepest condolences for the iconic figure.

In his life-long career Kader Khan has acted and penned down the stories of remarkable movies for A-listers of Bollywood including Shatrughan Sinha, Amitabh Bachchan and Shashi Kapoor among others. The veteran actor will be remembered for good for his finesse in work and hilarious comic timing through which he used to induce a dose of laughter in us. His work and contribution to the Indian cinema will be remembered forever.
