Many films in the Tamil film industry are made with the same subject. Yet the producers blindly okay the scripts. Let's not draw any conclusions though, before witnessing the show and we are taliking about 'Kadhalicchi Paar'. The film is directed by debutant Vijaya Balan, who is handling story, screenplay and dialogues for the film as well. The film marks the debut of newcomer Vikas in the lead role while Malayalam actress Megha Nair stars opposite him in the female lead role. Kadhal Sugumar, Shaams and Muthukaalai are playing the important roles in the film.

Shedding light on the film, director Vijaya Balan says that the film is about a youngster aspiring to achieve great things in life and things take an unexpected turn when he falls in love with a girl. Director says that although the film's storyline looks clichéd, it has an unique storyline that will engross the audience. The songs and dance are reported to have more importance in this film.
