Actress Kajol is currently occupied with balancing her duties at home. In the recent past she lost her father-in-law and stunt director Veeru Devgan and which was followed by hospitalisation of her mother-actress Tanuja.

The veteran actress complained of abdominal pain on May 29 and rushed to the hospital. Tanuja was detected with diverticulitis and also underwent a surgery for the same. 

Post a successful surgery, Kajol took to her social media handle to thank her fans and supporters for their prayers. She shared a picture with her mom and wrote, "This is just a great big THANK YOU to everyone who has called and prayed and thought of us . This smile that you see is of sheer gratitude."
