(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Kanye West "loved" seeing girlfriend Kim Kardashian as a blonde.

The rapper and reality television star celebrated Halloween early at a costume party in New York City on Saturday night.

Kim was dressed as mermaid Madison from 1984 fantasy film Splash, while Kanye went as her captain.

The 32-year-old star squeezed her curves into a seashell bra green sequined fishtail skirt.

But the blonde wig she wore has fans wondering if she might permanently dye her trademark mahogany locks.

"Kanye said he loved Kim as a blonde," Tom Murro, a guest at the party Kim hosted, told RadarOnline.com.

"He said she looked really pretty, especially the hair."

Kim and Kanye went public with their romance in April, six months after she filed for divorce from American basketball star Kris Humphries after 72 days of marriage.

The rapper famously revamped Kim's wardrobe in an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians that aired earlier this year.

Kim agreed her new beau could get rid of her entire closet if he replaced everything with new designer duds. (C) Cover Media
