(Cover) - EN Star Style - Kanye West shocked onlookers after spending a reported 27,000 on a shopping spree in London.

The American rapper parted ways with the money in an afternoon on upmarket Sloane Street in West London, which is home to designer stores including Dolce & Gabbana, Giorgio Armani, and Gucci.

The 34-year-old superstar, who was in the capital city to work on his new fashion range for women, settled up the total expense with a "bag of notes".

"Kanye certainly doesn't do things by halves. He was spending like the shops would all be closed by next week. Other shoppers couldn't believe their eyes when his PA came with the bag of notes," a source told British newspaper The Sun.

"Loads of rich people shop in that part of town but this really was something else."

Kanye's impressive shopping trip follows Beyonc Knowles' spree in London last week.

The global superstar spent 9,000 in just 90 minutes in two shops, according to reports.

The American singer, who was accompanied by her mom Tina Knowles on the trip, spent 5,000 in 50 minutes in high street store Topshop, before moving to Selfridges superstore where she splurged another 4,000. (C) Cover Media
