Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar's passion for filmmaking is world famous but that is not the only fervor that drives this multi-talented star. Karan, who has always been a fashion enthusiast, has had a fashion label after his name in India.
And now Karan is joining hands with other fashion magnets to create a trend of sorts. The 42-year-old is now set to take his expertise in style to another level as the editor-in-chief of the Lakmé School of Style (LSOS), a video magazine.
Through this initiative, Karan will pick a team consisting of more than two dozen fashion bloggers, with contributions from public relation officers and reporters to gather their inputs which will be used in creating online videos.
These videos will be a detailed description about emerging trends and paradigm shifts in those particular areas.
Celebs too will be sharing their views on the same portal. Karan is more than happy to be a mentor in this initiative, "I am excited about the power of digital, and the new wave of promising young talent that's coming to the fore through it. #fame's unique initiative, Lakmé School Of Style, is not just India's first fashion video magazine, but also the perfect opportunity for us to discover top fashion talent. I look forward to making my digital debut with this," said Karan.
