Vikram Batra is an officer of the Indian Army, awarded with the prestigious Param Vir Chakra, India's highest and most prestigious award for valour, for his actions during the 1999 Kargil War in Kashmir between India and Pakistan for conducting the toughest operation till date. The patriotic journey needs to be told to the millions and we are proud to have a filmmaker to make it happen. Yes, it is Karan Johar who officially announced it on twitter and guess what? It is Sidharth Malhotra to play the reel life role of Vikram Batra.
