Bollywood beauty Vidya Balan recently shunned her ‘sari-clad’ decent avatar and transformed herself into a sex siren for her film ‘The Dirty Picture’. The movie saw Vidya shedding all her inhibitions to depict the life of the bold sex bomb Silk Smitha. She won many accolades and praises from every nook and corner of the world for her role. She not only donned skimpy outfits but also mouthed some dare-bare dialogues and did love making scenes with not one but three actors in the same film. From locking lips to the bath tub scenes she has done it all. However the actress has not only garnered the attention from men but many Bollywood actresses too are taking lessons from her.

One in particular is actress Kareena Kapoor who is stunned by Vidya’s performance in the film. Kareena is playing a similar role to Vidya in her film ‘Heroine’. While Vidya depicted the life and rise and fall  of an item girl, Kareena will exemplify the highs and lows of a leading Bollywood actress in the film ‘Heroine’.

Kareena who was earlier skeptical of donning skimpy outfits and doing intimate scenes, is now considering to do them citing the fact that Vidya has set a benchmark for other actresses to try and attempt bold scenes onscreen.

The movie directed by Madhur Bhandarkar is set to throw some light on the sensitive subject of casting couch in Bollywood.  Madhur Bhandarkar is known to make movies based on real facts. His earlier movies 'Fashion' and 'Page 3' showed the dark side of the glamour and fashion industry.
