Kareena Kapoor has been signed to play the female lead in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Ram Leela', where Ranveer Singh has been paired opposite her. Like most of Bhansali's films, this one too has great dance and song numbers. 

The film was supposed to go on floors mid July and the songs were to be shot first. Sanjay wanted Kareena to shoot for a high end classical dance number, but unfortunately Kareena was not ready. 

Kareena, who has done Bollywood dance with panache, hasn't often indulged in classical dancing styles and hence wants to perfect her moves before shooting for the songs. She has asked him to postpone the shooting by six months as she wants to concentrate on the film completely. Bebo wants to dedicate her whole time to this project, but before that, she wants to perfect her dance steps and get trained under professional guidance.  

Well, Mr. Bhansali.....We hope the delay is worth it!
