After films and television, Karisma Kapoor is now trying a new medium. It is heard that the actress has turned Radio Jockey (RJ) (view gallery), and will host a special segment on an FM station.

Quite excited about the same, here is what Karisma had to say about the new road she will be walking on, "This is a totally new avenue, something I have never done. I am lucky enough I had a career for a long period of time. Like I said, I have done films, television, I also have a portal, so why not radio! It's something new and different for me to do."

Starting her acting career with the film 'Prem Qaidi', she worked until 2006 and made a comeback with 'Dangerous Ishhq' this year.

On this new platform, Karisma will talk about fashion and style. "It's not about standing out, it's like I wanted to do something new. I have got opportunities to do something on different platforms, why not radio. I think over the years people have appreciated my style. So here I am getting an entire show based on style and where I can help women across India," she said.

With a new approach towards her career, Karisma will soon start shooting for the remake of 'Satte Pe Satta' as well.
