Ayan Mukerji's most talked about film, after his debut film 'Wake up Sid' that also starred Ranbir, is yet again in news. The world is aware of the fact that Ayan Mukerji has once again cast his best friend Ranbir Kapoor in his next film that is a full on romantic comedy.

The female lead has not yet been decided, despite the fact that many names have been linked to the project. First it was Katrina, later the names of Deepika Padukone and Anushka Sharma too were suggested. It is now learned that Ayan is adamant on getting his original choice, Katrina Kaif, in his second film. The opportunity is knocking at Katrina Kaif's door, who hasn't yet given the nod for the film.

At first, when the film was offered to Katrina, it was said that Ranbir's closeness with his 'Rock Star' co-star Nargis Fakhri had upset the Kaif girl and it is the only reason touted to be behind Ranbir and Kat's break up. Now that Ranbir has openly denied dating Nargis or for that matter any girl he's linked to, we wonder what is keeping Kat away from Ranbir now. Kat's hesitance might be triggered by Angela Jonsson's recent confession about dating Ranbir. We wonder when Katrina will shed her anger with Ranbir and decide on the films' future that wants to have the 'Ajab Prem ki Gazab Kahani' couple on board. Until then, Ranbir-Katrina fans' wait seems to have just got longer.
