Whoopi was thrilled to work with Kate on the 2011 romantic drama A Little Bit of Heaven. In the movie, Kate played a woman who is diagnosed with cancer, while Whoopi was God.

Whoopi is full of praise for her vibrant co-star, revealing she was impressed by her upbeat attitude on the set of the film.

"She just wants to have a good time," The View host is quoted as saying by ETOnline. "She's a good person. A good natural girl and a sweetheart."

Whoopi also divulged that she had been eager to collaborate with Kate for some time. She is a fan of the 33-year-old actress, whose movie credits include Almost Famous, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days and Bride Wars.
