(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Kate Winslet has revealed that as a teenager, she was "in love" with her Mildred Pierce co-star Guy Pearce.

The actress had a huge crush on Guy's character in Australian television show Neighbours and would even skip school to watch episodes.

The star also confessed that when she finally met Guy on the set of their new TV miniseries, she told him that she had been "in love" with him and sang the Neighbours theme tune after finishing their love scenes.

"I was so in love with Mike from Neighbours that I'd fake illness to stay off school and watch the 1.25pm edition," Kate told the Radio Times. "Bless Guy, he was very good about it and just sort of giggled."

Guy, who plays Kate's love interest in Mildred Pierce, revealed that shooting sex scenes with the beautiful blonde is not difficult.

The Hollywood hunk, who starred in Oscar-winning movie The Hurt Locker, joked that he finds it awkward facing his wife afterwards, but insists that she is remarkably cool about it.

"Doing the scenes was easy going home to my wife afterwards was tricky," Guy told British newspaper The Mirror. "She said if it had to be anyone, she's glad it was with Kate." (C) Cover Media
