(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Katy Perry has announced her biggest world tour to date.

The 2011 California Dreams tour will showcase Katys latest album Teenage Dream, and is set to involve the extravagant outfits, catchy songs and impressive vocals she is famous for.

The live shows will follow the trend set by the Teenage Dream album cover, which had a scratch and sniff feature meaning the album case smelt of cotton candy. The singer has promised her upcoming tour will impact the senses in a similar fashion.

"I hope that it's going to engage all of your senses: sight, sound, smell, taste, touch, she enthused.

Katy will begin the tour in Europe, performing in countries including Portugal, England, Germany, France and Italy. The star has taken to her Twitter page to assure fans in the US and Australia she will be appearing there too.

Since Katy catapulted to fame in 2008 with her debut single I Kissed a Girl, she has become one of the worlds most in-demand pop stars.

Fans will be in for a real treat with the upcoming live shows which will see her perform hits such as the summer smash California Gurls and Teenage Dream.
