The 26-year-old pop star married British comedian Russell Brand in India last month, and the pair often gush about how much they love each other in interviews and via the social-networking site Twitter.

Katy also expresses her adoration for Russell via her song lyrics, and even she sometimes feels queasy about how romantic she can be, notably when she sheds tears of happiness.

Im a romantic and also loving and loyal... I guess love makes me cry. In a happy way, she told the British edition of Cosmopolitan.

I guess when youre so happy you have tears of joy, I know! Its disgusting!

Married life appears to be going well for Katy and Russell so far, although the singer was quick to deny rumours she and her husband are planning to start a family soon. The gorgeous star says she has no idea if she would be a natural at parenting as the thought of children hasnt even crossed her mind.
