(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Katy Perry plans to keep on "popping out" children if labour doesn't hurt too much the first time.

The American singer recently celebrated her one-year anniversary with British comic Russell Brand. Katy appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres talk show in the US and revealed she married Russell because she knows he will be a great father.

"Yeah, I would love to have children," Katy told Ellen. "I think that's one of the reasons you get married, especially to the person that you marry. You think, That person is going to be a good partner, a good parent.'

"If it doesn't hurt the first time I'll keep popping them out."

Although 27-year-old Katy is looking forward to starting a family with Russell, she doesn't feel ready for motherhood right now. The couple both have hectic work schedules which often see them spending long periods of time apart.

"I'm not sure it's yet," she added. "We'll see, ya know?"

The star went on to reveal that she is performing a free concert at Staples Center in Los Angles on November 23. Katy wants to finish off her world tour by paying tribute to all her loyal supporters.

"I am giving thanks to all of my fans. This is my big announcement on Ellen that no one has heard about or knows about," she said. "I played 121 shows up in to the 23rd date, and I want to finish it off by renting out Staples myself and giving a free concert to anyone in the world that wants to come to the California Dreams tour as my last show."
