Katy Perry wants her tourmate Robyn to give her fashion advice.

Katy Perry is an honorary hostess on American comedy sketch show Saturday Night Live this weekend and Robyn will be the special musical guest on the programme.

Katy was joined by Robyn in the North American leg of her California Dreams Tour this year.

The T.G.I.F singer was elated to have the Swedish musician as an opening act, as she was deeply inspired by Robyn's elegance.

"Robyn's cool, dude. She makes everyone cooler," Katy told MTV News at SNL rehearsals on set.

"She's just, like, the epitome of effortless cool, like you look at her wardrobe and you think, 'I don't think I could wear that,' but she wears it and she just owns it."

Katy believes that Robyn begins trends with her super chic style.

"[Robyn's] always wearing platform shoes, whether it's, like, creepers or Prada shoes. And she was wearing them way back when, in the beginning of the tour," Katy said.

"And now Prada's doing them; everyone's wearing them. Rihanna's wearing them. I'm wearing them after all of the convincing, so she's kind of the tastemaker. It's gonna be a great show because of that."

Saturday Night Live will air in America on tomorrow night.
