(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Katy Perry likes to be "courted strongly" when it comes to romance.

The songstress has been casually dating Florence + the Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd since her divorce from Russell Brand was finalised last month.

Katy hasn't given up on love after her tumultuous personal life made headlines at the end of last year.

"I'm a woman who likes to be courted, strongly. Never say never, I guess you'd say. I'll let love take the lead on that," she told the September issue of US magazine Elle.

Katy has a legion of fans, both male and female, who look up to her as a role model. The 27-year-old star takes the responsibility seriously, and tries to remain honest and open at all times.

"I can't tell a person when it's time for them to have sex or if they should have a cigarette But I try to live my life with a lot of integrity hopefully, that sends a message," she explained.

Katy's former husband Russell has also moved on since their split, and is currently dating Isabella Brewster. (C) Cover Media
