Katy Perry's insurers worried'

12th July 2012

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Katy Perry's insurance agents think her bizarre stage costumes "could be lethal".

The pop star is known to wear giant film reel bras and other outlandish garb during her performances.

Katy loves dressing decadently and is willing to take on the risk of wearing rotating lollipop bustiers onstage.

"I keep being told the insurers are worried I will injure my neck," she told British newspaper The Sun.

"I seriously doubt it could be lethal but they want a new bra designed that will not allow hair to be caught up."

During one performance Katy experienced what could have been a hair emergency if she wasn't cautious.

"Well, I was always known at school as the over-the-shoulder-boulder-holder. My hair got caught in the wheels of my spinning peppermint bra and began to coil around and around," she explained.

"I'm forced to just go with it so, by the end of the song, it looked quite like I was licking my own t*t. What a girl does for her art."

Insurance agents are afraid another incident like this could result in far more harm.

"It may seem trivial but a simple pulled muscle can stop a performer like Katy from going on," a source told the publication.

"Insurers don't care about the art or the fun just the dangers." (C) Cover Media
