Kelly Osbourne wanted to "punch" a friend after they made a homophobic slur.
In 2010 the 27-year-old joined Cyndi Lauper in the launch of her Give A Damn campaign, which aims to raise awareness of discrimination against the LGBT community.
As a keen supporter of gay rights, the star was angered when her unnamed pal uttered the offensive remark.
"Never ever have I wanted to punch someone in the face then when my X friend called some a f*g today! #Bigot (sic)," Kelly angrily tweeted.
Fans responded with supportive messages after reading her public display of outrage.
Kelly travelled to Hawaii to celebrate her brother Jack's wedding on Sunday.
Jack and Lisa Stelly wed in a private ceremony after getting engaged in 2011.
There was an element of drama to the nuptials, as Jack saved a drowning woman's life just a day after the wedding.
His new wife seemed to be impressed by the heroic deed.
"Really proud of Jack and his friend Tyler who saved a woman on the beach yesterday who'd had a heart attack and nearly drowned," Lisa wrote on Twitter.
"They resuscitated her until the ambulance came. We just found out she's in a stable condition! Awesome!"
