(Cover) - EN Star Style - Kelly Osbourne hates going to the gym, but finds wearing cute outfits and make-up helps.

The TV star has famously dropped around 50lbs. since appearing on American programme Dancing with the Stars last year. She has managed to keep her new svelte shape thanks to a regular workout regime and a healthy diet, but says some aspects have been easier to stick with than others.

Kelly still hates going to the gym, so has found ways to make it a bit more bearable.

What I find really helps me is when I put on little cute outfits to go to the gym. Because when youre looking at yourself in the mirror and you dont like what you see, youre not gonna want to go back, she said at a recent event. I know people say, Dont wear makeup at the gym, but I am that girl that wears makeup at the gym. I dont wear mascara, but I put foundation on and blush and a little lip gloss. I dont want to look at myself looking gross.

The star added she tends to wear leggings, a shirt and a brightly-coloured bra underneath.

Kelly appeared on the cover of the new edition of Shape magazine, wearing a skimpy red bikini. She discusses the road to her new body in the accompanying interview, explaining she cant believe its taken her so long to realise she just needs to stop eating when she is full.

The 26-year-old added hurtful comments when she was young also had an effect on her. She appeared on MTV reality show The Osbournes with her mother and father Sharon and Ozzy and brother Jack, but was regularly criticised for her body shape by viewers.

I understand that being judged by others comes with the territory, but it broke my heart and ruined my self esteem, she explained to the publication. It sets you up to hate yourself in a huge way. I was so angry about the things people said about me. I truly believe its the main reason I turned to Vicodin and ended up in rehab three times. I just hated myself.

Kelly is now 5ft. 2ins. and weighs 112lbs. (C) Cover Media
