(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Kelly Rowland says all musicians want to see themselves "at the top".

The singer is still good friends with her Destiny's Child bandmates Beyonc Knowles and Michelle Williams.

However, now all three of them are solo singers, Kelly confessed that there is a sense of competition between them.

"I'm close friends with Beyonc and Michelle, just like with Rihanna," she told German magazine In.

"But please don't deceive yourself: Every singer wants to see her own name at the top of the charts. A friendship between musicians has to cope with that. And luckily that's mostly the case."

For the moment Kelly's career seems to be going from strength to strength.

Earlier this year, she joined the judging panel for the UK version of television talent show The X Factor.

Her latest album, Here I Am, debuted at number three on the US Billboard chart and is her most successful record to date. (C) Cover Media
