(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Kim Kardashian "hopes" to be pregnant by the end of the year.

The TV star recently got engaged to basketball star Kris Humphries after six months of dating. The pair are said to be planning to marry in July or August, with Kim now admitting a family is also on the cards.

She turned 30 last October and has previously said she always thought she'd be married with children by the landmark age, so it planning to make up for lost time.

"I hope so, I really hope so. Maybe by the end of the year," she told Us, about baby plans.

"Well, I won't have [a baby] by the end of the year, but maybe we'll start trying by the end of the year. After the wedding."

Kim feels lucky to have found her perfect man and can't wait to be his wife. She explained she wants a relaxed and intimate wedding which all her friends and family will be invited to.

There's been a lot of speculation about whether she'll change her name when she ties the knot, and Kim tried to clear it up.

"I think at home and privately, for sure [I'll be Mrs. Humphries]," she said.

"Maybe I will make it Kim Kardashian-Humphries, but I think I will always have Kardashian for work. But at home, Humphries." (C) Cover Media
