(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Kim Kardashian says her fianc Kris Humphries always makes a good impression on people because he is so kind and funny.

The reality television star announced she is to marry NBA basketball player Kris yesterday, after six months of dating. He popped the questions with a 20.5 carat engagement ring, which is said to have cost $2 million.

Kim has gushed in a magazine interview about what first attracted her to her beau. The 30-year-old beauty insists she was instantly smitten with the sportsman, who she says has a "good heart" above all else.

"I really fell in love with him as a person he's such a good person with a good heart. Everyone that meets him says the same thing," she revealed in an interview with People. "He's so funny. He has such a great sense of humour."

Kim is constantly in the glare of the media spotlight and has a hectic schedule. The raven-haired star loves having Kris around as he is a calming influence in her life.

"If I've had a long day, I'm working really hard or I'm stressed, I just can't wait to come home to him," she says. "The time that we've spent together, we have so much fun together and he always, no matter what, puts me in a good mood."

Meanwhile, Kim's family have been discussing her pending nuptials.

Kim's sister's Khlo and Kourtney are sure the big day will be filmed, since they are used to cameras recording their daily lives for their hugely popular reality television shows.

"It comes with the territory," they explained to E! Online. "I mean, I would assume it would be...we sell our souls to E!, but that's obviously up to Kim and Kris."

Kim's mom Kris Jenner would love to have a lasting memory of her daughter's big day. The star is looking forward to another memento like when her daughter Khlo married in 2009.

"This is the thing, one of the biggest joys in my life is the fact that we have Khlo and Lamar's experience on E! They filmed it and every time I watch that, I cry," she said. (C) Cover Media
