(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Kim Kardashian's estranged husband Kris Humphries denies that he has herpes.

Kayla Goldberg sued the basketball player, who was dumped by Kim 72 days after their marriage last year, alleging that Kris infected her with the sexually transmitted disease.

Kayla claims that she and Kris had unprotected sex several times.

Kris denies that he is the source of Kayla's herpes, as he has medical proof that he's free of the STD.

"Kris was recently accused by another woman of giving her Herpes, this happened within the last two months," a source told Radar Online.

"Kris tested negative for it though and for any other sexually transmitted disease and he is absolutely steadfast that he has never given anyone Herpes. Kris plans on vigorously fighting the lawsuit filed against him by Kayla Goldberg and is considering counter-suing her for defamation."

Kayla stated that she and Kris met in August 2010 at the Newsroom Caf in Los Angeles.

Soon after their initial introduction, Kayla and Kris reportedly fornicated at the athlete's hotel room at the Thompson Hotel.

In court documents Kayla claims that Kris "did not at any time inform [her] that he was infected with the incurable venereal disease". (C) Cover Media
