Kristin Cavallari has confirmed that her engagement is back on.

The reality star split from NFL player Jay Cutler earlier this year and their wedding was called off.

But after reports that the pair had rekindled their relationship in recent weeks, Kristin took to her Twitter page today to say that the rumours are indeed true.

"This time it is official," Kristin wrote. "Jay and I are engaged again :)."

The 24-year-old starlet received her diamond sparkler back in April but the couple split in July which reportedly left Kristin "absolutely devastated."

Jay was seen in the audience of Dancing With The Stars supporting Kristin in October during her time as a contestant on the show.

At the time a source told People that they were "working it out" and seeing if they could make a go of things.

But it appears that the twosome are now back on track with their relationship and are looking forward to finally tying the knot.

"I think we both knew from the moment we met that we wanted to marry each other," Kristin said after their first engagement. "It's been a great situation."

Jay first asked for the TV star's hand in marriage in April after a whirlwind 10-month romance and friends have said she is "over the moon with happiness" that the nuptials is back on.
