Kylie Minogue: I'd love to work with Dannii

15th June 2011

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Kylie Minogue has revealed she would love to work with her sister Dannii again.

The successful siblings recorded a cover of Abba's The Winner Takes It All for UK TV show Beautiful People in 2008.

A year later, Dannii sang with her superstar sister on Kylie's Showgirls tour, and they are now planning to team up again.

"We would definitely love to do something together again, or many things in the future," Kylie told British newspaper The Sun. "My favourite thing that we have done together is a comedy catfight for a sketch show in England a while back. She and I speak the same language - we both have been in showbiz a long time. We know the ups and downs of it."

Both Minogue sisters started out on Australian soap operas, but while Kylie's pop success went from strength to strength, Dannii's recording history has been less stellar.

Instead, the 39-year-old brunette has carved out a career as a judge on the television talent shows The X Factor in Britain and Australia's Got Talent.

Kylie has also revealed that she would be overwhelmed by awe if she met her idol Jane Fonda.

A showbiz legend in her own right, the petite blonde admitted that she "idolises" iconic female entertainers who have made a mark.

"I would be really starstruck. I have friends who are friends with her and they tell me she is just the coolest woman," she explained. "I probably wouldn't be, but in theory I think I would be because I just idolise people like her - like Dolly Parton, the more mature ladies who have been there, done it, rewritten the rule book. They are the kind of chicks I look up to." (C) Cover Media
