(Cover) - EN Showbiz - La Toya Jackson is appearing in a new reality TV show.

The series is set to premiere in 2013 and will be titled Life With La Toya. While it will centre on the star, it will also offer an up close and personal look at her famous family. It will be shown on American channel OWN, which was founded by US talk show host Oprah Winfrey Network, and La Toya will also take on an executive producer role.

"I am so pleased to be working with television legend Oprah Winfrey and to be a part of the OWN family," La Toya told Variety.com. "This will be one of the most exciting adventures of my life."

In her upcoming series, La Toya will reveal the demands of her famous family and open up about her personal relationships. The star's growing entertainment business empire will also be featured.

This isn't the first time La Toya has dabbled in the world of reality TV. The fifth oldest member of the famous Jackson family appeared on the British programme Celebrity Big Brother in 2009. She followed in the footsteps of her brother Jermaine, who featured in the 2007 series.

Previously La Toya spoke of her decision to do Big Brother, saying her goal was to become more confident and "mix with people who I'd never normally meet". (C) Cover Media
