(Cover) - EN Star Style - Lady Gaga has been described as an "inspiration" to fashion designer Liz Black.
The creator is considered one of the fashion world's most promising rising talents, and her abstract art-inspired attire has attracted the attention of singer-and-style-icon Lady Gaga.
The star was spotted in one of Liz's creations last week. It was a futuristic monochrome circle-themed frock, and Liz thinks the songstress wore it with just the right amount of panache.
"I am thrilled to see her wearing one of my pieces," she told Vogue.co.uk.
"Since creating my pre-collection Arty Society, featured in Vogue Italia, I always hoped Lady Gaga would one day wear one of them, she has always been a great inspiration to me. [The dress] is sensational on its own, however on Lady Gaga it is extraordinary!"
Liz was spurred to create the gown after looking at work by late artist Sonia Delaunay, who championed the use of strong colours and geometric shapes. The creation was made to be worn by a strong woman such as Lady Gaga.
"It was initially inspired by the artist Sonia Delaunay's Circle canvas," she revealed. "This piece was created to frame the empowered woman in a circle, achieving a superb visual effect, where her silhouette is beautifully highlighted - whilst at the same time integrating masculine influences such as bow tie and waistcoat elements."
