The actress is the face of Vera Wang's perfume Lovestruck. Working with the brand was easy for the star as she knows just what it's like to fall in love passionately and suddenly.

"Absolutely. It's a wonderful feeling you feel spontaneous and alive! Lovestruck makes you feel the way you do when you're falling in love," she told Company magazine.

Leighton has previously been linked to Garrett Hedlund and Justin Long, but is currently thought to be single.

She's best known for her role as Blair Waldorf in US television show Gossip Girl. It's a part she loves, but she's also keen to show people she's not synonymous with Blair.

That's part of the reason Blair decided to ditch her brunette tresses in favour of a dip-dye look. "I've played Blair and had those dark ringlets for so long, it's nice to try something new when I'm not filming," she explained. (C) Cover Media
