Liam Neeson records special Taken-style voicemails for his children.

The 60-year-old actor has two sons, Michael and Daniel, with his late wife Natasha Richardson, and the boys are big fans of his work.

Lines from Liam's character in the epic thriller have become legendary quotes however the actor himself doesn't find them quite as memorable.

"I have recorded a special voicemail [with Taken quotes] so many times for my kids!" he laughed to Australian radio hosts Kyle and Jackie O.

"And they have to prompt me on the lines, because I forgot them, which is a little embarrassing!"

One particular stand-out quote involves Liam's character, Bryan, telling the people who kidnapped his daughter, "I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you."

Liam is currently promoting the movie's sequel Taken 2, but doesn't feel there is room for a third instalment.

"I don't think Luc Besson, the producer, sees a third and I don't either," he revealed.

"Famke Janssen, who plays my wife, does and Maggie Grace, who plays my daughter, does too. Maybe they should do a thriller for those two and Maggie becomes the heroine! They can call me up for advice on the telephone!"
