(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Liam Neeson hopes his knees "hold up" to star in many more action movies.

The 59-year-old actor is famed for starring in a range of high-octane action movies including Kingdom of Heaven, Clash of the Titans, The A-Team and Taken.

The latter is one of Liam's most popular films, and has revealed his intentions for the future.

"We joke about doing Taken 3, Taken 4, Taken 5, and so on. It's funny to be doing this at 60. I just hope my knees hold up," he laughed in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

"I'd better hold on to those."

Liam has some younger competition in the form of Taylor Kitsch and Liam Hemsworth. The star carefully preps in order to keep up with his more youthful counterparts.

"I had to up my push-ups and sit-ups. There's quite a bit of running, and quite a bit of fighting. There are some real nasty bad guys here," he smiled.

Liam has filmed Taken 2, which also stars Famke Janssen and Maggie Grace. He has gushed about working with his female co-stars.

"We shot in Istanbul for five or six weeks before Christmas, then we were in L.A. for a week, and then we were in Paris earlier this year, and I have to go back over soon because there are a few little scenes we can improve," he said.

"It'll be lovely to see Famke again, and Maggie. We make a good team, the girls in my life." (C) Cover Media
