Lil Wayne reveals that he suffers from bone injuries that "don't heal right".

The 29-year-old rapper is an avid skateboarder and is an active member of the skateboarding community.

Wayne constantly hurts himself when he's partaking in his favourite pastime.

After performing in Atlanta recently, the star shared the story behind a yellow bandage on his shoulder.

"I broke my clavicle, like, two months ago. What happened was, I didn't go to the doctor when I broke it, so it healed on its own," he told MTV News. "Whenever you let a break heal on its own, it don't heal right, so I got a lot of bone callouses around it. So this tape keeps my bone from popping out of my skin. It's fun."

Wayne famously fell off his skateboard and received nine stitches in August 2011. The star was more concerned about being able to participate in the sport than he was about returning to health.

"I always get injured but I never get an injury where I can't get back on the board," he said at the time. "Remember we had the nine stitches? That didn't mean we couldn't skate the next day, so we skated the next day."
