(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Lindsay Lohan has rejected several lucrative offers to host New Year's Eve parties, it has been reported.

The 25-year-old actress is currently doing well with her probation duties and does not want to jeopardise them by getting back into the club scene.

TMZ claims that the Mean Girls star has received a lot of requests to appear at events to see in 2012 but has turned them all down.

Sources have told the site that troubled starlet is desperate to change her party girl image and she believes that staying out of the limelight for the festive occasion would be a good move.

But her decision is said to be a costly one because she could be missing out on a pay day said to be in the six-figure region.

Instead, Lindsay plans to see the back of a troubled 2011 with a few close friends at her home and maybe a quiet dinner before the countdown.

Lindsay received high praise from Judge Stephanie Sautner when she was in court earlier this month for a probation progress hearing.

She is doing well in her court-mandated community service at a Los Angeles morgue and has been seeing her therapist regularly.

Lindsay's earned a reported $1 million for her recent Playboy cover shoot with the magazine flying off the shelves in the popular issue. (C) Cover Media
