Soon after watching Sonam Kapoor completely soaked in culture and traditional values in 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo', fashionista is tweeting about her next 'Neerja' which will show her in a completely different light.

It is based on the life of Neerja Bhanot a flight attendant who was murdered while protecting the passengers from terrorist; when Pan Am Flight 73 was hijacked by them on Sept. 5, 1986.

Directed by Ram Madhvani, Sonam will portray Neerja's role on screen. This would be her very first biopic of her career. Backed by Fox Star Studios, the banner released first logo of the film.

The film is set to release on February 19, 2016.
