Bollywood celebs seized at International airports is not a common thing now. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan was seized by the US immigration department officials on Friday August 12, 2016. SRK took to his twitter handle to share the news. He tweeted, "I fully understand & respect security with the way the world is, but to be detained at US immigration every damn time really really sucks." A few minutes later he again posted a funny tweet which reads, "The brighter side is while waiting caught some really nice Pokemons."

Assistant secretary of state for south and central Asia in the US Department of State Nisha Desai Biswal has apologised for "hassle" Khan faced at the airport."Sorry for the hassle at the airport, @iamsrk - even American diplomats get pulled for extra screening," she tweeted. Well the reason for the detention is still kept under wraps.

Meanwhile, this is not the first time that the actor is seized at the US airport. In 2012, the immigration officials of the New York airport seized him for over two hours, but later apologised for it. Earlier in 2009, he was detained at Newark Liberty International Airport because his name came up on a computer alert list.
