Arya's ambitious project 'Vettai' has already created quite a buzz for itself and the latest news is that Madahvan's role, in this action oriented drama, has been recently unveiled. Maddy is playing the role of a suave undercover cop in 'Vettai'. This will be Maddy's first Tamil film as a cop. The actor was previously mostly seen in soft romantic roles. To see him in a tough role will definitely be a treat for his fans.

Vettai has created much hype even before its shooting, as it's directed by Lingusamy after his blockbuster hit film 'Paiyya' with Karthi in the lead. Yuvan Shankar Raja scores the music for 'Vettai Mannan', while Arya plays the male lead in it. Arya and Maddy play brothers in the film, while the female leads of the film include Sameera Reddy with Maddy and Amala Paul romancing Arya.
