(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Malin Akerman is pregnant, it has been confirmed.

The 34-year-old Rock of Ages actress and her husband Italian musician Roberto Zincone are expecting their first child together, her representatives told People magazine.

Malin and Roberto met in 2003 while playing together in the band The Petalstones.

When the pair socialised after gigs initially, they had to converse using a language dictionary, as Roberto spoke little English.

Eventually Malin and Roberto began dating and the couple married in 2007 in Sorrento, Italy.

The star has spoken previously about the love that she and Roberto share with one another.

"I really hit the jackpot," she told Women's Health magazine previously.

"Roberto is so accepting and supportive."

Apparently their relationship is continuing to blossom.

Malin is not experiencing any type of emotional stalemate with Roberto.

"People would say, I'll give the two of you five years,' " she revealed to the publication.
