Malin Akerman has recalled going to a ballet class "completely drunk".

The actress enjoyed some wild times when she was growing up. Malin used to take dance lessons, and once drank too much alcohol before a class.

"I definitely had rebellious moments, like any teenager," she told British magazine Look. "I remember one time mixing shots and my mother calling and saying: I'm going to pick you up to go to ballet.' I ended up at my class, completely drunk, trying to do plis!"

Malin is currently promoting her new movie Rock of Ages. The musical film is set during the 80s and sees her character share a steamy scene with rock god Stacee Jaxx played by Tom Cruise.

Malin has revealed that she fell for a rocker in real life, but has refused to divulge any details about the romance.

"Years ago my best friend and I went backstage at a rock concert in Toronto," she confessed. "It ended up being a real romance for me, I dated one of the band members for a year. And no, I'm not telling who it was because, yes, you'd know the band!"
