(Cover) - EN Star Style - Mary-Kate Olsen says clothes made from leather and python-skin were the natural choice for her and Ashleys clothing line.

The twin sisters, 24, presented the Spring/Summer 11 collection for their upmarket label The Row in Paris earlier this month, and it was all the exotic materials employed which really made a mark.

Mary-Kate and Ashleys elegant leathers and stylish snakeskin garments were praised by all the top fashion magazines, and Mary-Kate says they came up with the idea fairly organically.

Exotic skins were a natural choice because weve always concentrated on the body so skin made sense, she told Dazed Digital.

Despite the use of extravagant materials, Ashley explained the pair wanted to keep their collection quite simple. She feels the fashion industry is swamped with over-designed clothes, and insists they have normal women in mind when creating collections.

Our goal is to create understated, wearable, beautiful clothes that fit the body of every woman, she explained. (C) Cover Media
