(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Matthew McConaughey adores the ritual of hunting and loves exploring nature with his family.

The 41-year-old US actor has two-year-old son Levi and 14-month-old daughter Vida with his partner Camila Alves, and says one of his main aims as a parent is to teach his kids how to hunt.

According to Matthew, freshly hunted food is way tastier than that which can be purchased in a store, and hes relieved that his girlfriend shares his fondness for fresh meat.

Its a whole ritual and no meat ever tastes better than a deer youve skinned yourself, he told British newspaper The Times, who asked whether his girlfriend wouldnt prefer to stay in fancy hotels rather than join him on action-packed road trips into the wild.

No! She really digs it! We all do, he replied.

When he isnt indulging in his favourite outdoor pursuits, Matthew works hard as one of Hollywoods most successful leading men. The 41-year-old US actor is currently promoting the Brad Furman-directed drama The Lincoln Lawyer, where he plays a lawyer who conducts his business from the back of a Lincoln Sedan car.

Matthew greatly admires Mick Haller, his alter ego in the film, and tried his best to evoke the characters rhythm and fast pace. To an extent, the actor even felt like he was dancing his part.

I personally love movement, anyway. This whole script had movement, in its simplest form, for the mobile office. The Lincoln had such great entrances and exits from scenes. Open up, the Lincoln pulls in, he gets out. Its a great segue-way. Its literally a vehicle for segue-ways.

That was something true about these guys who do what he does. They dont stop. Everything is moving, like a dance. Theyve always got a few things going. They have a dexterity that is always on the move, he told Cinema Blend at a roundtable interview. (C) Cover Media
