Actress Meera Chopra aka Nila has been dragged into a murder case. The Gurgaon cops have started searching for her in connection with the murder of a woman, who is the wife of the actress' alleged boyfriend.

The deceased, Ruchi Bhuttan was found dead under mysterious circumstances at her posh DLF City house. While victim Ruchi's in-laws claimed it was suicide, her relatives suspected foul play and blamed her husband Sumit Bhuttan.

According to Gurgaon Police Commissioner S S Deswal, Ruchi's sister Priti has alleged that Sumit was having an affair with Meera Chopra, the cousin of a famous Bollywood actress, and was pressurizing her sister for a divorce, which her sister was opposed to. She got married to Sumit in 2005 and the couple was engaged in the business of share brokerage.

Sudha, mother of the deceased, charged that her businessman son-in-law, had an affair with Meera Chopra and both conspired to murder her daughter. She said that the diary maintained by her daughter reflects all the conspiracy hatched by the two lovers. Sudha, a resident of Sahibabad, demanded the immediate arrest of Chopra, who is absconding after the death of her daughter.
