Meera Chopra, who has already established herself as a successful actress in the South with many projects, is all set to make her debut in Bollywood.

The launch of her debut film 'Gang of Ghosts' was recently held in Mumbai, and the media was quite eager to learn more about Meera, who is the cousin of one of the most renowed celebrities, Priyanka Chopra.

Parineeti Chopra, who made her debut under the huge Yash Raj Films banner, has always been modest and has had no qualms when praising her cousin Priyanka on multiple occasions, so the media was expecting the usual praises for the actress once again from Meera; but the debutante surprised us when she expressed that she and Priyanka are 'not the best of friends'.

Meera clarified that although there is no 'real tiff' between her and her cousin Priyanka and that her parents are quite close to Priyanka's parents as well, but the two of them are not close buddies and are simply just related.

The cautious actress further shared that it is important for actors to be meticulous when selecting their projects especially their debut movie which sets the stage for their journey in tinsel town. Meera was no different, as it was only after director Satish Kaushik narrated the script that she loved and opted to debut with 'Gang of Ghosts' in Bollywood. Meera has also been signed by Vikram Bhatt for the next installment of his '1920' franchise.

Let's hope that although the actress has not managed to score a big banner for her debut, Meera's confidence translates into good acting onscreen. Or else, there would simply be 'Gang of Ghosts' without real audiences haunting her box office collections.
