(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Mel Bs sister Danielle Brown is appalled at the star for failing to turn up for a reunion.
The former Spice Girls singer - who is currently expecting her first child with husband Stephen Belafonte - fell out with her mother Andrea over three years ago; when the 53-year-old told Mel shed made a huge mistake marrying Stephen after just four months of dating.
The 35-year-old star barely speaks to her younger sister Danielle, 30, after she got involved with an argument she was having with Stephen. After expressing her concerns over Mels relationship with Stephen, the singer no longer keeps contact with her.
Danielle has revealed how disappointed she is that her older sibling failed to turn up to meet her when she offered an olive branch after years of not talking.
Its so raw and upsetting. Im so upset about it. She is my only sister. Even talking about it now makes me want to cry, she told British magazine Star. Ive not seen her for three years. I was stood up. Its horrible. Im just appalled. Its so raw and upsetting and it is hard for my family. It is real life, not a show. Ive not seen her or her children for three years and she has never met my baby boy Hendrick.
The songstress who already has two daughters from previous relationships, Phoenix Chi, 12, and three-year-old Angel Iris - was ready to put her differences aside with Danielle and they had planned to meet at The May Fair Hotel in London last week but Mel never showed up.
Soon after, Danielle took to her Twitter page to express her anger.
Cant believe my sister has stood me up after 3 yrs of waiting for that call. I am devastated and again disappointed beyond belief!!!!!! (sic) she fumed.
Mel then Tweeted back, asking Danielle to email or text as family matters are personal. But Danielle slammed the star for having to keep their affairs in the public domain as thats where her passion lies.
